Which wheel breaking seals do I want for my 2016 North Point axle bearings?

I need to replace the rear seals for my 2016 North Point axle bearings. The first time I lubed the axles, I used the EZ Lube option and I am pretty sure I damaged the seals.

Last year when I re-packed my bearings, I hand packed them and cleaned all of the excess grease out. Thought everything was fine.

This season, while I was adjusting my brakes I noticed a little grease on the back of one of my wheels. Pretty sure I need to replace the seals.

Which part number and brand do I want. Keep hearing to stay away fro the “China” version, but that is all I can find when I search Amazon for the Lippert replacements. Thanks.

You need to crawl under the trailer and read the axle tag. Find out if you have LCI or dexter axles and the weight rating...
With that info you can get the bearing part number at any bearing supplier. There are cross reference charts. Then you can get the timkin, nkg, etc bearing part number from that. Same for seals. I carry a spare set of bearings inner and outer with me and a seal.
Oh original bearings from LCI are all made in China... Not sure on Dexter.
There is a timkin cross for them.

I don't have a brand/part number..., but when you get new seals for your specific axle(s) I would recommend getting a "double-lipped" seal which are much better at keeping grease in and water out.

Those are the same axles I have on my 2017 Northpoint. 3 of the 4 drums had grease flung all over in there. That may have been my fault. I think I over greased them. I cleaned the brakes all out and cleaned all the grease out of the hubs and repacked them by hand. I noticed the seals are TRP seals and VCO(?) bearings (China). My seals seemed good. They are a double lipped seal and seem pretty good quality, but... I'm going to run mine this way for this year and inspect them at the end of the year and seek if the seals held up. If so, I'm gonna say I over greased them and thats my fault. If not, I'm gonna punch them out and put in SKF seals (USA) and Timken (USA) bearings and races. The bearings will have the part numbers right on them. I didnt find any part numbers on the seals but if you have to replace them try to get measurements off them BEFORE you pull them out because you will destroy them in the process. They will need outside diameter measurements and inner diameter seal measurements.
Another issue that I ran into was getting the wheels off. I had 6 lugnuts across the 4 hubs that were a little pissy coming off. I found the lugs had a reaction to the zinc coated studs. I've never seen zinc coated studs before. I ended up punching out all 32 studs and put in the black studs like what should have been in there and put on some nice longer chrome lugnuts replacing the junk chrome capped ones that were on there.

If you search google for lci 7000lb axle bearing you will get hits
I believe the outer bearing is a part # 25580
Inner bearing is #14125A. These are both common bearing part numbers. 6000lb axle uses same bearings on my trailer. You should be able to find good bearings.. Non China made easily. You are going to pay more for them. Skf, Timkin, etc.
There are two possible seal sizes
2 1/4 inch or 2 1/8inch. As stated get the double lip seal.
If it where me I would grab both seal sizes and return the one that doesn't fit after I'm done the work.

It sounds like you may have re-used the seal when you repacked the bearings. IMO a seal should never be re-used.
