Whirlpool Frig

Hey, all I’m new here! We bought an Eagle 355 MBQS in February. The frig is residential and has never made ice nor has it given us water out of the door. I feel like this should be any easy fix but it’s June and still no answers? Anyone else have this problem?

Have you checked the valves (usually one under the sink and one under the stove) to be sure they are both open? Also several people had a pinched line behind the fridge.

In addition to the valve, there is an on/off switch inside the icemaker. Remove the ice bin and you will see it.

yep. It’s turned on. We can’t get water out of the dispenser either.

Our 2020 Eagle 334 RLOK came with a 5 gallon water bottle under the sink that is connected to a pump feeding the residential fridge for ice and water. Also for the drinking water spigot at the sink.

It's called the "Drinking Water System"...

Water to the fridge is a rite of passage for many new Jayco owners. Our valve was under the sink behind a false panel and then just below the floor in a concealed cut-out. Another commonly cited location is behind a drawer under the oven next to the fridge. While looking for it you're likely to find some outlets and light switches that you didn't know you had. Good luck

As Iamdrdream said, the fridge is fed water by the pump under the island that also supplies the little water fountain in the island near the sink. The pumps only access to water is the 5 gallon jug under the sink. I re plumbed my fridge to be supplied by the pex lines that bring water to the sink so I don't need to carry the jug and can eliminate the pump. Also there is a valve under/behind the drawer below the oven, if you open the drawer all the way, you may be able to see if it is turned inline with the hose, which would indicate it's open or if it's perpendicular to the house indicating it's closed. It was a head scratcher for me as well.

Exactly
I just did the same mod to mine this morning. Better water pressure and makes winterizing with compressed air easy.
No more noisy pump and no filling the jug 👍

look real hard for the shut-off valve under the sink. They tried to hide mine, but I found it. it too was pinched and leaking. I am in the process of eliminating the water jug and running the freezer water direct. Frees up a lot of good storage.
