Whisper Quiet AC ???
Ran the AC for the first time this weekend. It seemed to a little loud for being labeled "whisper" quiet. Looking for feedback to see if this what I should have expected or not. I had to crank the volume practically all the way up to watch tv. Any suggestions or comments on how loud your AC system would be greatly appreciated.

I know you've had the unit a little while now, we are waiting for ours. Can you give us an overview of what ypu think about it? Build quality, issues kinda of a general review would be awesome.
Thanks in advance.

I think "whisper quiet" is more a marketing term than a accurate description.

Today's Whisper quiet it a lot quieter than yesterday's units that had the big air return grill directly under the AC unit. Because the bedroom AC's are still mounted with the big grill under the unit, I wonder if that's the one your referring to?

No I understand the AC unit in the bedroom will be louder. I guess I was expecting "whisper" quiet unit in the main living area to be a little less noisy.

Mine is MUCH quieter than the Dometic I had in another rig. We have found that closing the side vents off and letting it blow into the duct seems to quiet it somewhat, if you have that option.

A big difference from my old 2013 unit to my new 2015 unit. It was one of the first things I checked when looking to purchase the unit I did.

For those of us that do not have the 'Whisper Quiet' what we have always done is if we are in the rear we run the front/bedroom A/C.
Sleeping we run the back A/C.
This is our 'Whisper Quiet' and it truly is.
Now if it's way to hot.....
