In the 3 years I have had my own RV and paid attention I am amazed at how fast they release and remove product lines. Initially I thought it had to be representative to how the market accepted (purchased) a specific line. But now I'm not so sure. I think it has more to do with companies gaming the market to create more new purchases vs pre-owned. Think in terms of your own buying habits, wouldn't you be less inclined to purchase a product line that is no longer manufactured. Maybe I am giving these companies to much credit and it really is sales volume and manufacturing efficiencies --- but it seems suspicious that there are so many lines and sub-lines that are only around for 3-5 years.

I was hoping it wasn't because of major problems

I have thought that the touring edition was simply the old Eagle Light rebadged to get it away from the HT line. Could be they didn't sell enough of that model to warrant continuing to produce it.

That is normally the case when any model or line is dropped.

UPDATE. There are 2015 models on JAYCO's web site, so I guess they didn't discontinue them.

IIRC they just updated the web site and changed it to 2015 for the TE. ????

http://www.jayco.com/products/fifth-...ns-and-prices/

Normally when they are dropping a line or floor plan the web-site will say "Dealer stock only".
