Why will satellite will only work in bedroom?

I hope someone can help us. This is our second Jayco Eagle 5th wheel. The first with a satellite hookup. We can only get the satellite to work in the bedroom. The main TV will only work with the antenna. It will work if we hook the receiver directly to the dish and not thru the bypass in the wall. We find this strange that the main TV would be the one that doesn't have satellite capabilities.

Thanks again,
Julie

Check, but there may be a "jumper-cable" near the living room TV; I believe this jumper needs to be removed when watching satellite tv...

I've got a new Jayco Fifth Wheel. To receive satellite TV, I had to remove the jumper as suggested above and connect the satellite "in" cable from the receiver to the "A" connection of the bypass and, of course, the cable from the satellite dish to the exterior "In" connection.

Thanks
There is a jumper in the bedroom and 2 outlets - one for cable/satellite and one for antenna.
In the den there is only one outlet. Can you find the jumper without taking the whole thing apart?

I contacted Jayco direct and they emailed me a wiring diagram so I could see where all of the wires went and their color codes. It made hooking up satellite on both TV's a piece of cake.
