WiFI Signal Booster

Does anyone know what the best WIFI booster for the campgrounds wifi is. I have a 2019 Pinnicle 36ssws. Also if you just want to use it for your tablet / Amazon Fire Stick do you need to bring a laptop to hook the booster up to.

I have an outside Engenius AP/CB that I connect to an inside router (a cheap one) via CAT5 cable. It can be a bit “fiddley” to set up but it performs fairly well. The big issue is you are limited by the performance of the WiFi it is connected to. If it is slow (for whatever reason) the performance won’t be any better. I also am unable to connect to a CG WiFi that is “open” but has a username/password prompt once I attach. There are some CG wifi’s That seem to detect the type of device I’m using and will refuse the connection.
I went down this path thinking of convenience, I connect the EnGenius to the CG and all of our toys to th in-house router. What I have experienced is I can connect to maybe 50% of the CG WiFi’s but the performance makes it a “so what” deal. I’ve found VERY few CG WiFi’s can support streaming which was part of my original goal.
I have since bought an inexpensive NAS that also supports a media server (Plex). I have ripped all of our DVD/BlueRay disks and can watch any of our movies without any WiFi. E-mail (the other goal I was wanting to reach) is served by my cell phone.
