Wifi Source

Where is the source for the wifi? I am in the process of setting up internet in my Eagle 355mbqs and I get a good wifi signal in every spot of the RV so figured my not find the source of the wifi and see if I can run a router to it or a hotspot to take advantage of this good wifi signal being sent throughout the RV.

Does anybody know where or how the wifi is setup in the RV?

Thank you for any information you can provide!!

To clarify, I am looking for the router that is installed some place in the rv. I assume I will be able to tie into directly somehow or possibly replace it will a better router that I can use a sim card with.
I have a good external antenna setup and would prefer to replace the router that came with the rv with a better one but I need to locate it first.
Thanks.

So your looking for the gateway wifi router that allows you to connect to the trailers one command system which, once connected, you can control slides, awnings, lights and leveling from your cell phone. It won’t allow you to connect to internet via a separate SIM card. Typically the gateway is mounted in an upper cabinet. I’d look in any cabinet closest to the one connect screen.

Will give that a shot, hopefully I can see if there is an antenna setup throughout the RV or if it's just the signal produced by the router that reaches the entire RV!

It’s just a signal generated by the gateway via a stubby antenna attached to it.

Gotcha, so no antenna running through the rv helping to distribute the signal?

Is this a new unit or new to you? If new, the dealer should have taken a good amount of time helping you configure the system to your portable digital communication devise.
