Unfortunately, Winegard is WAY WAY behind services like TravlFi (paying customer) and HomeFi, just to name a couple. With them, you at not tied to a carrier. They provide Internet from all 3, depending on what is the best where you are at.

Winegard needs to step it up...

We have the Verizon card installed. It took away most of the hassle with connecting to camp WiFi and poor signals. I seldom mess with the settings, the 4G is the default setting. Of course, if 4G is lacking in the area or a very busy campground at night, then all bets are off. Here at home on the farm, the WiFi at the camper can be spotty due to the distance from the house, even with an extender. The 4G pretty much eliminates that even though Verizon is not the best out this way in the country

The discount is worth doing, it is either 20 or 25 percent. If you have multiple lines/ phones and hotspot - the discount applies to all of it.

I first went to the store I had to show them what I was using for and after that I did it online, but if you don’t use the number they give you you will have to get a new number to go with the IMEI number.

TravlFi.

We love it. I've price, and it finds the best connection. While it will switch between them, if one gets bad, typically, once it's locked, it stays on point.

This was, we only have one price to pay...
