Winegard Gateway Install Questions

Recently went to install a Winegard Gateway/Modem in my 347 BHOK. Factory pre-wired with the removable puck in the ceiling. White and white/blue strip low voltage wire, plus three antennae wires were tucked above. Made up the connections, but I cannot get power to the unit. Has anyone else tried to use the factory wiring and had issues? Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Not yet. Was going to have dealer take care of it when I take it in to get winterized. Sorry.

You most likely will have to install a separate cable mount for that unit---I am doing it now myself-- here's a few pictures of the connector--will have to drill threw the wall 3/4 and mount it-- can not run the RG6 connection threw the factory set up will not work---max length for the RG6 cable is 50 ft, this will be connected to the sat box with a 3 ft cable and from the box to TV with a HDMI cable.

Here is what I found as there was nothing out there on the web and I doubt any dealer knows (they likely just run a new wire). The negative was disconnected but the positive was connected. The location of the positive was behind the battery shutoff. The negative was in the same general area but in the front compartment looped thru the firewall and tucked away cognito style. So find the white wire tucked away not connected and connect it to the frame. Here are pics. Message me if you have questions.
