Winterization Question

I know its early to be thinking about such things as winterization. Our new North Point 387RDFS has a residential whirlpool refrigerator. I'm familiar with winterizing the rest of the coach. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on properly winterizing the refrigerator. The owners manual was very general and vague on the subject.

This is my first coach equipped with a residential frig and I want to ensure i'm doing everything properly. I don't want any emotional experiences in the spring.

Thanks in advance

^^^^ what he said.

Not shutting the fridge door tight is very important. If you do shut it tight, expect an 'emotional experience in the spring.'

Thanks for the responses so far. I was not specific enough I guess. The Whirlpool frig has water and ice maker dispenser. I understand to remove the frig water filter and not pushing RV Antifreeze thru the frig water system. Do I blow it out using low pressure air and activating the ice/water dispenser to open the water solenoids to allow the air to pass thru. Or does anyone have experience using RV antifreeze thru the frig.

The coach is also equipped with a Saniflow macerator system that is also new me.

Any thoughts or experience out there.

Last year I blew out the all the lines, including the fridge by using a cup at the water dispenser. And I cycled the ice maker by pushing the manual button. I then turned the shutoff valve to the to the fridge and then cycled the RV antifreeze to the rest of the RV.
