winterizing, need some help!

So I turned all the knobs on the manifold to the winterize position and thought that one of the knobs would bypass the hot water heater, but when I started to pump anifreeze through my lines pink stuff started to come out of the hot water heater. I have had other trailers before and I had to always bypass the water heater but when I read the owners manual for this trailer it never said anything about bypassing it so I figured that in the winterize position it would have done it. So do I need to bypass it somehow and if so, where?
Thanks!!

On mine they are very close to the hot water heater, inside the trailer, but are hard to see because there is a panel in the way. I get down on my knees and have to look up and over the panel and use a flashlight to see the valves.

I'll check it out when I get home. Do all Jayco RV's have the manifold with all the different knob positions?

No they don't. My 17Z does not have them. You have to turn the valves by the "cold" water heater, and near the water pump. No labels on the valves, you just have to use common since.

Which particular model do you have? Perhaps someone here has one also and can help with valve location/identification.

I do need to add it to my signature. It is a 2007 Jayco EAGLE Fifth Wheel Series M-299 RLS

I found it and it is all put to bed now for the winter. Thanks for all the replies.
The manifold just through me off, like I said previously I figured out of the 5 knobs I had to turn, one of them would have been a by-pass but apparently not.
