2005 Jayco Jay Flight 31BHS Rear Bumper End Cap

I'm trying to find at least the passengers side rear bumper end cap that holds the waste hose in storage, if anyone has both sides in new or like new condition, I'd probably take them both. For now I have to store the hose in the main passthrough compartment and would like to have it where it belongs for more room. So anyone that has it please get in touch and let me know and how much you're asking. I'd prefer someone local to make the transaction in person, but will buy it anywhere I can get the best deal.

If there’s a chain campground (KOA, Yogi Bear, etc.) or you have campground nearby with a good camp store, you might find it there. Call their store and ask.

I haven't really searched online shops yet, but I'll start there, just thought maybe someone might have a part out and would be getting rid of them,, thank you both for the suggestions. Unfortunately I'm having trouble finding any local brick & mortar stores near my area, so I'll have to source everything online, including trying to work out a long term way of powering everything while boondocking, or dry camping. Let the fun begin. Thanks again.

If your rear bumper is like the one on my 2000 Eagle, there are holes on the top and bottom near the bumper's opening that are used to hold the bumper cap so it doesn't fall out. Buy a 4-1/2" bolt that will fit through the holes, lock washer and nut. That should keep that hose from escaping until you can obtain the bumper cap. Be sure to save the bolt somewhere in the TT in case the bumper cap gets lost, stolen or left behind. Truthfully, you can accomplish the same thing with about 9" of wire and twisting the ends together like you do with wire ties on a loaf of bread.

I understand your problem with finding a store. It's nearly 20 miles to the nearest sizable town from our house and the nearest hardware store is about 5.

Previous owner actually already had bought one and it was stashed in the back of a drawer, so it's all good now. I'll just put a screw into each cap to secure them in place and prevent either of them from coming off while driving, thanks for your suggestions everyone.
