Well it is Officially on the Florida website;

Safety Updates
Out of an abundance of caution, all events, activities, special event reservations, pavilion rentals and camping/cabin reservations at Florida State Parks have been canceled for the next 60 days. Florida State Parks remain open for day use, however hours of operation have been reduced to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Indiana has closed all restaurants/bars but as far as I know the state parks are still open for camping. I went to 4 stores and 2 gas stations to buy a gallon of milk and came up empty. Saw a person at one of the stores with 5 gallons of milk in the cart. Fear is rampant.

Feel your pain man, just trying normal grocery shopping is almost impossible. The stores are madhouses. We luckily have a couple small rural stores and some Amish stores that have groceries for now. I don’t think their chickens plan on stopping egg production anytime soon. And they bake all their own bread so that’s a plus.

On another note, gas was $1.94 yesterday so I added a couple more 5 gallon jugs to my growing collection just in case the Honda or Champion needs a drink in the future.

I agree. But who can drink 5 gal of milk in two weeks, besides maybe a large family?

Possibly and that's ok. Obviously the panic buying frenzy comes from a fear that the product won't be readily available in the near future but I'm pretty sure production will overcome demand eventually. To make light of a bad situation would be if I ran out of single malt scotch!

My wife and I go through a lot of milk, I buy 2 gallons at time. I bet we go through 5 in two weeks and if my 28 year old daughter stops by it's back to the store for more.

I think during times like these it would be prudent to cut back on unnecessary items. Adults do not need an excess amount of milk.

Oregon state parks are still open and we're planning a long weekend to a nearby park to test cell coverage in preparation to work remotely from there. Hopefully they don't get closed before then, but so far no news that that is planned...

We camped last weekend. I can say it was refreshing to get away from all the doom and gloom for a few days.

Ameristar Casino in Vicksburg MS is shut down- all March RV reservations cancelled, including ours.

OK, who knows this answer. I have two reservations, one at a federal park, one at a state park. I need to cancel both, since NASCAR killed our trip. I know I can go online and cancel the reservations, but each place charges a service fee (not that it's a big deal).

If the state or federal park shuts down on their end, and cancels the reservations, do they still charge that service fee?

Probably because most reservations are done through a 3rd party.
e.g Rec.gov, Reserve America.com

Depends on how the reservation is handled by the CG/Park

Oregon state parks cannot refund the service fee because it is through a 3rd party (ReserveAmerica). I would assume that is the case in most places.

DW had her knee replaced on 5/30/17 & we were camping in July. Yes it was slow but she refused to sit at home any longer.

Ok, we're now booked at Rivertown Rose in Vicksburg. I guess private parks are the way to go for the rest of the trip.

When I spoke to ReserveAmerica last night, they told me there would no service charge(s) as the Government Entity closed & cancelled my 2 reservations.
