COVID didn't really affect kids to the point of hospitalization like it does for some adults. Many are asymptomatic.

I don't plan to have my kids vaccinated.

My wife and I are vaccinated, mostly because it will be the only way to travel again.

Ontario is still locked down so we're camping in the backyard. Ridiculous.

Yah. Have a happy 2-4 weekend.. not. If Douggie wants 0 cases before opening up, it will be a loong time.. I feel for those who live on Campobello Island near me. Prisoners in effect.

They will have the vaccine for children shortly. They showed a one year old that received it. There are my trials out there now. And most young children have no effect from the virus but there are always a few that will get sick. In states reporting, 0.00%-0.03% of all child COVID-19 cases resulted in death, one is too many.

We never stopped camping, just slowed down. In 2021 we camped for 84 nights.

In the last 2 weeks 3 of our grands have had Covid. The youngest was 9. All had minimum symptoms with the youngest having a high fever for a little over 24 hours. All are recovered now.

We actually camped more than usual.. 7 weeks cross country and a month in Maine.. The only downside was visitor centers in National Parks were closed.
