1st time 2019 seneca 37k

Just purchased 2019 seneca 37k, is there any thing special to know about dumping the 2 black tanks and also the two gray tanks. We have been 5th wheelers for 15 years but first timers with Sani-Con® Turbo. Would some info from rv'ers with our system. Thanks

Depending on how you are traveling the best I can offer is to add water to the black tanks before you use them and then fill them up. If you on a site with full septic you can leave the sanicon hooked up and the grey tank valves open. The unit will drain through the pump and the hose will act as a trap to keep sewer gas in the sewer. The day before you are going to dump black tank , close grey valves and build volume in the tank to clean the line. Then when ready open the grey valve and turn the pump on for a few seconds to be sure there is no issue with the unit under pressure. Once satisfied you are not going to spray anything turn pump off, close grey and open black, then turn macerator pump on until you hear the sound change and the hose will start to pulse. That means the tank is empty. Turn pump off, close the black valve and reopen the grey. Repeat with the pump on until the sound changes.

Your specifics will change based on how you are using your unit.

Welcome to Seneca family, they are a great unit and fun to drive and use. Safe travel and enjoy your new unit.

Couple of other things. If you can get a tub to wash your dishes in, then dump the water down the toilet. The warm water and soap seem to keep things moving down there.

Like RVermont said put water down your black tanks as soon as you drain them (unless of course you are going to store the Seneca a while). Like you we just brought home a 2019 Seneca RB. But, experience from our Sunseeker says put a good inch or two of water in the black tank and at least 1 toilet pill (I like 2, keeps the stink down). Especially if you are driving.
