2013 Seneca License Plate Light

My Seneca went thru Delaware inspection today. The license plate light is out, but the inspector just said to replace it and passed the vehicle.

The light is a clear, rectangle shaped, 2 prong L.E.D. like the red and amber marker lights I bought for my Haulmark trailer.

I've been searching online and can't find clear lens units, just red, amber and red/amber units. Anyone know where the heck can I get one of these that is clear?

I tested the bulb on a fresh battery and it works fine. Multimeter says no "juice" in the 2 prong socket it plugs into. I will strip a section of the wires going into the socket/base. If there is "juice" in the wires, I'll need to get Grote # 43850, https://www.grote.com/family/low-pro...unting-bracket

Can't help on the light but had to comment because I see you are in Delaware. So are we. What part of Delaware are you in. We are in Georgetown

I'm in Millsboro, just down Mitchell Street about 1 mile south of the bowling alley just before Rt.20, in Millwood subdivision.

2013 Seneca License Plate Light

Still having problem locating the proper 2 wire receptacle for the license plate light. One wire is hot + (Black) and the other is ground - (White). Bulb is good and power as far as the factory plug on the end of the receptacle.

A 2 wire + and - socket with white/black pigtails or even the factory plug is required due to the fact that the thing mounts in fiberglass.

Any help locating one of these by Grote or other mfg. is greatly appreciated.

It will fail Delaware inspection without a working license plate light.

There is always the Walmartian solution....

Secure the S.O. to the ladder, and duct tape a flash light in their hand.

Amazon has it all...

https://www.amazon.com/Grote-60291-R...ds=Grote+60291

If you look at the bottom, you'll see they have the socket as well.

Mine went missing, but I just replaced it with another white LED I had "in stock" on the bench.
