2014 Jayco Seneca fresh water pump

I have a 2014 Jayco Seneca 36FK. My water pump seems to not be working. The light comes on but makes no noise at all. Where the heck is the water pump on this model? I have searched in the wet bay, up behind the control panel and underneath the coach. It seems like the lines go from the wet bay to a space between the chassis and floor of the coach with nothing visible underneath (including the holding tanks and fresh water tank). Does anyone know where it is?

Wet bay high and right ( very high ) not very easy to maneuver into that area - you can’t see and put your hands in there at the same time - an easy job made very difficult because of the location Les

oh... have done this and was not all that happy...

it is on the right wall.. a small chunk of plywood is screwed to the ABS wall on the right up high behind the wet bay controls... the only way I could get to the screws (square bit is required) was to loosen the white control panel that goes across the wet bay and lower it so that I could get my hand/arm in far enough to reach the screws on the far side of the water pump.

I suggest that you PM me your number first... don't remove the entire pump, but replace the weakest link which is the pump switch first. The pump will quit because of the constant cycling and will carbon the switch contacts to the point that the pump will not work.

This will happen again, at the most inconvienient time. Always carry a spare water pump.
You can make it more accessible by rotating it down on the 90 degree PVC pipe angles.

When my pump failed I tore the bay apart and relocated the pump and filter to area that are more accessible. This has made filter changes and repairs on the pump much simpler. While it took an hour or so to do, everything is now accessible without being a contorionist.

I had a problem with my pump needing to be primed. you might try running water into it first.
