2015 Seneca 36 FK Sewer Pipes Don't Fit Through Pipe On Bottom Of Water Bay

Took my new (used) motorhome camping for the first time last week and discovered that the sewer pipe kit hoses we purchased won't fit through the apparatus (pipe) mounted on the bottom of the water bay while the fittings are on the flexible pipe. Went to Walmart and purchased some "clamp-on" type connectors that solved the problem but is a hassle to install/remove the connectors every time we move to be able to get the flexible hose in/out of the pipe? Any suggestions?

I removed that swiveling pipe assembly completely from my unit, I installed two access covers (link below) such as would be used on a boat. My heavy-duty hose couplings would not fit either (thru the pipe).

I put one cover directly below the sewer outlet connection and one in the (former) swivel pipe location to cover the hole where it was removed. I sealed them with silicone and used stainless steel hardware. I almost always use the access directly below the sewer outlet. They work great!

Brian,
You can see one of the access covers in the attached picture, the one that replaced the swiveling pipe assembly. The other is not visible, but it is directly below the outlet piping.

This was taken when I had my unit all apart to install my SeeLevel tank monitoring system. It looks much nicer now!

The barbed end will fit through the 4" ABS pipe if you take about 1/16" off each of the barbs any way/any tool you have. It leaves plenty for the 90 degree fitting for the sewer connect. The sad part is that it doesn't swing out under the door perpendicular to the coach.

I ran the sewer hose through the pipe without the fittings, then added the fittings. It pulls back in far enough to work.

While most of our camping is dry camping, and we end up dumping the black after we get home... we rarely leave the sewer hose hooked up more than 15 minutes at a time, dump with the door open and rarely use the big hose outlet.

The few times we did end up in a park, we just screwed off one of the couplings and ran the hose thru the pipe and then reconnected the coupling back on, or ended up coupling additional sewer hoses together to make it to the sewer connection in the park. (It is amazing how some parks in FL don't have the sewer connection near to the power connection)

I removed my paper towel holder and it gives much easier visibility when hooking up hose.
