Well, I've got egg on my face. This morning I went to my barn stored motorhome to exercise the generator and look again for the antenna amplifier. The motor home is always connected to shore power but without any lights on it's pretty dark inside which I finally realized would be ideal to see the "little green light" on the amplifier. Lo and behold, the first place I looked(in cabinet behind the swingout main tv) I could see a faint glow of the green light buried behind a maze of wires. Impossible to get to without being a major contortionist. Relocation is on priority list.

You are not the first to miss this, I was pretty sure I saw the unit up there when we were looking but we got the entertainment cabinets so I could not say for sure.

Now comes the hard part, trying to clean up the mess.
