2017 Seneca Frameless Window

The frameless window on my Seneca in the cabover area does not seal tightly on the front leading edge. When travelling down the road, the window opens about 1/4" on the front leading edge. Have not been able to get a close up look as we are on the road. Are these adjustable?

I also have a 2017 Seneca but I don't have windows in the cab over area. However my window above the kitchen sink acted the same way and I had to replace the crank with the arms on it because that's the only way it came. Two pop rivets was all that held it in place.

I got mine from a Jayco dealer. I took the old one in because they have different sizes.

Is it still under warranty? We had 2 windows replaced under warranty- if not your Jayco dealer can order it for you Les

We have a side window that flexes open on the sides.
Top and bottom of the window are secure and closed but the sides of the glass bow and flex enough to see through.

We took a video of it while going down the road to show the dealer.
Hopefully they can do something with it before the glass breaks.

Just had our upper overhead window on our 2018.5 Jayco Seneca glass break out and fly off going down the freeway at 63mph!! Luciky it didnt hit any cars but exploded into a million pieces when it hit. We always check our windows are tight before we pull out so I know it was shut and nothing was against it inside. Emailed Jayco Sunday night but no response yet, I will be calling tomorrow!

Rustynuts - I saw your post on FB about this.

I am hoping Jayco will replace mine. I've been told it was "normal" window movement but I called bs and the service manager got involved.
I am told I have 2 new windows and a new door being ordered and replaced under warranty..... hoepfully all works out. I do not want to experience what you did with a window blowing out at freeway speed.

Having replaced my window operator on my cabover window, I can see how this can happen. First of all, the portion of the operator that actually moves the window in and out as well as the window track that the operator fits into are both made of thin plastic. The end of the operator has a thin plastic disc that fits into a thin plastic track and I believe that if any stress is put on the window it can break either one of these components thereby allowing the window to come open and flap in the wind. I have noticed on my windows that the operator will actually open itself a little bit just due to the vibrations of road travel. I now check all of the operators every day while we are on the road.
By the way, the operators can be purchased at Pelland Enterprises if you need one and don't need to go to your RV dealer.
Very poor design
