2018.5 Seneca 37HJ Microwave

Help! Just got mh out of storage yesterday and plugged into “house current” the microwave will NOT come on. I’ve checked at the plug and there appears to be 122v. Any suggestions?

When you say "checked at the plug" do you mean at the receptacle that the microwave actually plugs into?

Check the RV's breakers at the power center. There is probably a dedicated breaker for the microwave. It could be tripped.

Is the microwave plugged into its receptacle?

Yes I checked the outlet that the microwave plugs into. We actually took my Wife’s hair dryer and plugged into this plug and it operated. How can you have power to the plug and nothing out of the microwave?

Microwave manual says “dedicated circuit”. But where would that breaker be located.

If the hair dryer worked then the problem is the micro itself. They do have an internal fuse, but you probably have to take it out do get to it.

I remember another owner having a similar problem, our "rolling earthquakes" caused a connection inside to dislodge and arc. The unit will have to come down to inspect it.

First off Thanks to those who commented. Sure enough after watching a You Tube video on how to get to the internal fuse that’s what I found. You’d wonder why it was blown but a new fuse brought the microwave back to life. Thanks again.
