2018 Seneca 37FS- Customization?

Have been lurking on these boards for a while researching the Seneca. I have almost reached the point of ordering one. But, I do have a question: Does Jayco allow ANY customization at all of a coach if we ordered it (besides available options)? Specifically, I was hoping to have the vinyl flooring thoughout the whole coach, including the slide where they currently put carpeting. With 3 kids and a slobbery dog, the carpet just gets dirty very quickly. Anybody know if this is possible? Thanks!!! (And thank you all for your informative posts and discussions!)

Everything I have heard in the past is they will not. But it can't hurt to ask, perhaps call Jayco directly. Let us know what you hear please.

No way

We spoke with the Jayco Reps at the Good Sam National Rally in Phoenix Az and ordered ours at the rally but they wouldn't even consider any changes but our dealer did agree to do a few things as part of the sale - make them replace the Harris batteries ( they are junk )

I do not know how the Seneca are built. But my parents had carpeting in half of one of their TT's. Like you they got tired of it. They carefully removed it. Under the carpet the floor was vinyl. The biggest issue might be the slideout.

Good Luck.

Just ordered a 2018 FS. No customization allowed. I guess I will just remove/replace the carpet when the kids and dog finally make it ratty. No big deal. Thanks for the replies!

You tried!
Congratulations, this will be on the new S2RV chassis, yes? You will have to give us M2 owners plenty of feedback!

4x4 m2

When I was anxiously awaiting my TS to come in, I remember someone on this forum posted pictures of the Jayco factory. In one of the pictures of the units awaiting delivery was a AWD version of the M2 build out as a Seneca. They must allow some customers to customize.

Yes. I was told they are all through with the old chassis and 2017/early 2018 floorplan. I guess they are considering this a 2018.5 on the new chassis and new floorplan with the fireplace/entertainment console. The interior is a new combination they call "glorious cream". Imperial Night paint scheme.
Mid-February delivery, which will make testing the plumbing systems a bit difficult in frigid central PA temps. But, I bought my last motorhome from this dealer and they were great with any warranty work, so I'm not really worried about getting anything fixed after delivery.

Where in PA?

I am from Johnstown, and will be taking mine to Pioria, IL for work. Good luck on your new purchase.

We are taking delivery on a 2018 Seneca TS in a couple of weeks and Jayco would not do any custimization. Prior to buying the Jayco i worked with Renegade for 6 months on a custom coach. It was $250K more and I would have to wait 9 months or more to get it vs 4 months for the Seneca. After comparing the custom Renegade with the Seneca i figured I could live with the few items that Jayco would not customize. I have to believe that allowing a lot of customization has to add a lot of cost to the production of all the units Jayco produces, not just the customized unit. I'm the end i decided that I would rather have more beer money.
