2021 Seneca 37TS bed lift

Has anyone cracked the code on adding a lift assist to the late model 37TS with Schwintek slides?

The bedroom slide moves the bed over the structure on the bottom. There is storage under the bed but no good way to access since the bed and platform are heavy. They provide a prop bar but this has bent and the bed has fallen suddenly. The slide has Schwintek mechanism. Nothing to fasten gas shock to because the top moves and the bottom is stationary.

Robbbyr has an excellent post in his profile albums:

Just finished mine this week with guidance from ed4ster: https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/m...lbums1336.html

Mine is the FS model (stationary bed) so I can use struts.

I have an Accolade 37TS and have not yet found a solution. I will say that a bed lift is relatively low on my modification priority list.

Thanks javamon. Unfortunately, this will not work for me. I have Schwintek slide mechanism mounted in the the sidewall. There is nothing to attach the struts to in the storage area that moves with the bed platform.

Sorry....thought the first link to robbbyr's solution would work in your case.

I have looked at it a few times but like EA37TS said, low on my list. We only store stuff under there that we rarely need like sleeping bags and extra blankets. Our in our RB is pretty shallow, not much storage. I have working in this are a many times on electrical and heating projects and I really dont see any way to add assist lifts.
