SOK battery 12 v dc 204 amps can be run down to 5% so I get a lot more bang to the buck.

There is a really good web site: do it yourself solar discussion forums. I don't know if can link the site here.

This is the best way not to reinvent the wheel complete with all the science.
SOK has a marine grade, plastic housing. Here is a really good overview. This guy knows his batteries…

Gotcha, LiFePO4 are great, SOK has low temp protection. They have a marine grade coming. This guy knows his batteries, I will go to these when the others go end of life. Although battle born is just as good and a bit cheaper at the moment.

P.s I would love to see your before and after photos of everything…battery install, new inverter, and cleanup of the mess…I am not an electrician so I am trying to learn as much as I can.

Oh I know about DIYSolar forums…..that is what lead to my current build of four 280ah batteries with JDB BMS units. Still waiting for 4 cells but have got 2 packs top balanced and have run capacity test and am actually getting 287ah out of the first 2 packs. I have a space inside the main common compartment area that is pretty much useless for anything storage wise but is perfect to these batteries. I will probably add final build pics to my inverter thread.

Those batteries are really cool! It's funny how the underfloor layout is so different yet so much the same.
