2022 Price just went up

The 2022 Jayco Seneca price just went up on their website to starting at $304,943. This change happened in the last day or so. Hopefully the dealer will not try to bump up the price on my unit that is sitting at the dealer waiting to be picked up.

Yikes. We pick ours up this Friday, 7 January. I can’t imagine they would change the price, but who knows these days…

Let us know if they try to pull a fast one on you. Good luck with everything else! I am having a hard time waiting for ours. The closer it gets, the harder it is to sleep!

Everything went well. No mention of the price hike and we were out the door for the price originally agreed on. Very happy so far. Love how it drives over our previous RV.

Yikes, I am so glad we bought when we did, else I don't think we would have been able to afford doing this as we did/are...

I have noticed the Seneca's have a fairly substantial price increase every 4-6 months, with a few smaller increases in between.

What I do not like, they list the starting "Price at" X, but when you go to the "Build and Price" page, they have already added mandatory options that increase the price. This is true for all of their product lines. The 5ver we are looking at has three mandatory adders.

For example the 37K on the Seneca home page lists "Starting at $304,943" Build and price page, go to the bottom it lists it at $311,693 and that is with no options being added. The "Customer Value Package (Mandatory) is a $6,750 adder. If it is mandatory, how can you list the starting price as $304,943.

On the Prestige line the "Customer Value Package (Mandatory)" is a $11,250 adder.

To me it sounds like a bait and switch scheme to make their prices look better upfront and hope people do not question how the price jumped up so quickly.

We ordered our 2022 Greyhawk in June 2021, and picked it up in September. I just did a "Build and Price" on Jayco's site and there is a $9,750 increase in MSRP.. Talk about inflation!

Good to hear! I am so excited for Thursday. This has been a long time dream for my wife and I and we are fortunate enough to be realizing a bit sooner than expected.

I believe all of our previous trailers and 5th wheels have had the same mandatory package scheme. However, to your point, most included it in the starting MSRP.

And it is interesting to note that the "Build and Price" page was updated with the new prices too... AND it still shows the new GVWR and GCWR ratings along with the lower powered Cummins powerplant.

...have you thought/considered that it is the temporary "future of Seneca in the new era of Seneca's" at least until there are chassis components that are available?

Just got a 2022 Accolade 1/14/22. Just priced out. 11k increase. When will the insanity stop? Jayco still has 2021 website up. Same RV Jan 2021 $269. One-year 53k increase. Roughly 20% more. I doubt many made 20% more this year. Media touts 6-7%.

From the post I already purchased. I know exactly what the root of the problem is.
