'21 Seneca 37L propane hose ?

Finally brought our new vaca home home. As I was going over everything in the driveway I was following the origin of what is probably several feet of hose that was coiled and hanging near the rear passenger leveling jack. The hose connects to a central hub that the propane tank feeds and other hoses go into the coach (burner), quick-connect and I assume one goes to the on demand water heater we had installed.

I can only guess that this hose is there for the potential of a propane generator? The generator that came with the unit is the standard diesel generator. Any other ideas? Am I missing something with this hose?

Thanks in advance for replies!

My 2020 37K had the same thing. I removed the hose and installed a brass plug.

Thanks 75462! I assume you just close the valve on the main propane tank to do that work and not lose propane?

Yes, and did a leak check with dawn soapy water afterwards. Saw no reason to keep several feet of hose coiled up with propane in it under my coach.

Does your rig have the standard electric-only residential refrigerator? A propane electric refrigerator is optional and Jayco may install the hose on all chassis as they go down the line.

That likely explains it Robbbyr, we do have the electric/residential fridge. Thanks!

While I don't know, but could it be that it is there and used with an outdoor cooking appliance such as a gas grill or something similar like an outside firepit?

In the number of times I've crawled around under my coach I don't recall seeing that hose. Jayco did tell me that even though they are built in the same plant that the Accolade and Senca go. down different production lines.

craigav, we already have a LP quick disconnect for a grill or fire pit installed in the LP tank bay.

As Rob said, it’s for the optional gas/electric fridge and installed on all chassis during the prep. It was also on 2 Accolades that I recently looked at.
