'22 seneca prestige engine lacks power

Took the '22 Seneca Prestige 37k out for a test drive today and I thought the acceleration was pretty weak. I worry about going through the mountains (WV VA PA)
Owners - do you find it has enough power going uphill??

360hp and 800 foot pounds of torque is plenty going up grades. Sure it’s not a sports car, but definitely won’t be slowest going up. More importantly it’s great going down grades with the exhaust brake.

Did you place the transmission in the performance shifting mode using the "Mode" button on the shift pad? Did your salesperson even mention it? They likely have no idea what it is or what it does.

But it makes a big difference in how the rig performs.

Check out these videos posted by another owner with the same powertrain as the one you drove.

Well, this just might change things! Salesman never mentioned - thanks for the link! I've got some videos to watch

Even those of us with pre-S2RV chassis (the M2 chassis) can go to Allison and have the transmission programmed to use a performance shift schedule. Makes a big difference in how the unit performs.

The salesman never know most of the details. I found it by reading the Allison manual.

My salesman didn't know anything about the chassis and sadly not much about the house part because they had just started selling them at our dealer within the past year and they had never had one on the lot before.
