6 week long journey, can't wait to do it again!

Now that was an amazing trip. 6 weeks on the road. 3914 miles, 68 hours behind the wheel. Saw so many amazing sites. Drove on the weekends and worked during the week from the rig. Can't wait to get out there for our next adventure.

Congrats!!! That is much like how we travel about 50% of the year for the past 5 years...

This year, for many, Covid made it possible for much more folks!

Curious how you stayed connected i.e.(mifi) I have thought about doing the same, driving on the weekends or evenings to get to a destination and working weekdays from wherever.

Congrats on the trip. We are at about the 3800 mile mark on our trip and we still have another 1200 to go. Unfortunately we are on our second Freightliner breakdown in a week.

Getting ready to contact Freightliner and have it towed to a service center this time. The last repair of the DEF system lasted about 300 miles (from Sioux Falls, SD to Amana, IA).

Along with the Freightliner issues we have a major slide issue to where we cannot extend the dinette slide. This happens to be the same slide that Jayco factory service in Middlebury adjusted during a service visit in August of last year. Not sure if I'll take it back to them or have the dealer repair it this time.

FWIW, while we were at the FMCA International Convention in Gillette, WY I bought a PepWave Transit Dual and through a reseller got SIMS for Verizon and AT&T with 200GB of data for each carrier. Aside from inside the depths of Yellowstone this thing has been outstanding for coverage and data. I no longer work so no data required needed for that effort but the streaming has been outstanding.
