Does anyone know what weight pag oil is used in the s2rv 2021 seneca a/c compressor, developed a leak, got it fixed but need to recharge and add some oil, on the a/c sticker underhood just gives freon not oil

Did you check the Internet with the make and model number of the compressor? Most compressors are a standard weight.

Keep in mind that "if" you changed out the compressor to repair your issue, that almost all replacement compressors already come with oil and wouldn't need any more oil added. ~CA

Also if it sprung a leak most likely the refrigerant leak out as gas and left the oil in the system

Exactly. I can't remember the last compressor that I have seen that wasn't "pre-oiled".

When I am not sure of how much oil a system has in it due to a leak or repair, I have used these (I purchased mine through Amazon). I suspect that these are not highly accurate but I also fully believe that using these testers are much better and much more accurate than simply guessing. ~CA

Lost a little oil was on floor, evacuated the system down added correct amount of freon & 1 oz. of oil , thats what we normally do, it just didn't have the pag oil to use on the a/c sticker under hood like most vehicles do.

Besides being a Seneca owner, are you also an HVAC technician? Jayco told me my AC unit, while only slightly used, was not repairable and that I needed to replace the entire unit! Was yours a "serviceable" unit or did you add the vavles necessary to recharge your unit?
Thanks in advance for your info.

He's working on the automotive cab air conditioning system, not a rooftop unit.

I have owned a car/ tractor trailer repair shop for 37 years, I have never seen a vehicle that doesn't have a low & high side charging port in the system, my seneca isn't any different i don't know why the would have told you that.
