A couple of more items to check on new units

All connections under our kitchen sink leaked. They were barely hand tight and did not have any pipe thread tape on them. Leaks went to false floor of cabinets so we did not immediately notice it until one of the drawers filled up with water. Fairly easy fix...

Trim for bottom of shower door track also leaked like a sieve. Applied more clear caulking on all sides and inside the track where it meets up with the wall. Again, easy fix just frustrating.

Bath sink connections did not leak but were barely tight at all.

Already mentioned, but my coolant lines starting leaking a bit again. I found one clamp that I must have missed as I was tightening all of them after the first major leak.

Not supposed to have teflon tape. Since they use cone washers they should just be snug and not over torqued.

Caulk is not recommended inside the shower at the bottom as it is supposed to be able to vent, The pan goes up far enough behind the panels to prevent water getting in there.

I have added a few short caulk spots that were catching water and not draining.

Grumpy and Norty hit the nail on the head. I agree with both of their statements,

Not sure what to say here. I tried hand tightening the pipes and they still leaked, I then tried over tightening them and they still leaked. As soon as I added tape, they stopped leaking.

By the way, water was also coming through the actual sink connection. I did not add tape there and was able to hand tighten it enough to stop the leaking.

My shower glass door came with caulking from the factory. The leaks were coming from underneath. The vents were working correctly on the shower side of the rail system, but water was sneaking underneath and on either end of the shower. Took three applications of caulk to get water to stop coming out the bathroom side onto the floor.

I had the actual kitchen faucet fixture crack just above the threads on my Jayco a few years ago. I couldn't actually see the crack until I removed it. But, it leaked even after I replaced the cone washer.

Replaced it with a cheap one from amazon.

Had the same issue with our shower. Shower was only siliconed on the outside down to the counter. Bottom half of the side rail and bottom rail was not siliconed. Water in the bottom rail would leak into the gap on either end and out the front side of the rail onto the floor.

Sometimes the cone washers aren't seated properly, are crushed or are missing. Any of these will cause leaks...

The showers in the Senecas are a one piece fiberglass unit, not a pan and side panels like other units. We had the same problem when new, they dont always finish the silicone seal around the outside of the Aluminum shower door frame like they should.
