Another bad DEF Harness

Picked our rig up from the RV dealer and went straight to the Freightliner dealer to have the check the MIL and ABS lights.

The ABS is a bad rear wheel speed sensor.

The MIL is a bad DEF heater harness. This same dealer repair this harness 2 years ago.

Looks like a week before they can schedule it into the shop.

Apparently there is also a recall that has to be applied. I didn’t get a recall notice.

Bad diode in the DEF Heater harness/system.

Picking the coach up in the morning. Tools 2 weeks to repair due to staffing shortages.

A year ago I had a DEF header failure do to a DEF wiring harness that was pinched and crushed due to poor installation. We were traveling back from Texas to Minnesota and were forced to spend 3 days at a Freightliner Dealer to get everything repaired. —— I just returned from Texas again, the RV has run about 7000 miles since the repair with no further problems. Keeping my fingers crossed. I have driven it for a year with nothing breaking or needing repair. I’m in a sweet spot. Hope it continues. We spend about 5 months per year in our Senica.

FWIW the diagram the tech used for a troubleshooting reference was A66-05933-000.

The problem was in Circuit 532M2+
