Awning

2018 Jayco Seneca 37RB. The awning will not deploy once it is all the way closed. I have to roll it out and go pull each arm out about 2 feet for it to go on it's own. I thought maybe it was due to leveling but leveled the coach and still would not roll out. Any help or anyone else had the happen?

I have two awnings on the 377. One opens every time while the other one sticks every time. Been that way since new. I've had CW check it two times but they can't seem to fix it. Jayco supposed to look at it while it's at the factory for other repairs.

Awning

Ours is slow to go our but after about 18’ unroll it springs into position and works as I think it should - I haven’t had to help it yet but sometimes I think it isn’t going to work but it does Les

I have the 2018 Seneca HJ and I think it is just a matter of time before I have problems with my awning. A couple of times while trying to bring it in, it doesn't want to start. I have to rock the switch like I am trying to get it unstuck. Once while extending the awning, I was holding the switch and watching the back end go out. Something caught my eye to my left and I realized the awning was unrolling at the front end but the arm wasn't extending. On my list when it goes back to the dealer this winter.

That's exactly what ours is doing minus the switch issue. Can grab the arms once it has run out about 4 feet of cover and pull them to extend the awning out.

Figured out a little something today. If I set the awning at more angle it will roll out. If I set it more flat it stays put other than rolling out. So i guess i will always have a good angle on it when deploying it.

Got me thinking. The one that opens good on my 377 is set 3 holes different for drainage. The one that sticks is even.

I set mine 4 holes from the flat deploy. Drops out everytime....going to try it again today just to make sure that fixes it but yesterday it was working perfectly.
