Basement heat duct

I have a 2022 Entegra Accolade 37K. On the rear (driving direction) wall of the main storage, I have a 3-4” (estimating, haven’t measured) hole in the wall. There’s an air gap outside which is open to the elements, then a matching hole to what seems to be the rear basement area over the rear wheels and what seems to be a black or gray tank inside that. I think I’m missing some round ductwork which connects the holes to provide heat to the rear storage compartments/tanks.

Can anyone verify 1) there is indeed some ducting missing, and 2) what type of ducting (e.g., solid PVC or something; soft flexible like used on the lines inside; hard flexible like the accordion/expandable metal dryer ducting).

Thanks in advance.

The cord reel is to the right and one of the tanks is to the left.

A little better exposure to see the matching hole and what appears to be another tank inside the hole on the other side. The angle looks off because of where the photo was taken, but it looks like they are lined up as far as I can tell.

Mine has the hole in the same place and has pipe running through it connecting to one of my holding tanks

So, it sounds like something they should have filled up, then. I appreciate the info!
