You are correct the cust service folks are great. They had me try a reset on the roof holding the reset for 3 min which I did 7 times. No joy! They are sending a new unit but I’ll bet it’s a fuse or something somewhere based on the fuse problems I’ve had so far but can’t find the issue.

Where did you find your power switch, if you don't mind me asking?

In the cabinet next to the microwave
Oh and it would be great if you told me that there was another switch that I haven’t found yet.

I went up and installed the card and it took about an hour and he got it working. I was at a campground and used the app to switch to wifi and it was so poor that the signal kept going in and out so I went in the app and it wouldn't let me switch it back. I called Winegard and she had me go into it 10.11. and it switched back to 4g I had the same problem at another campground and the app didn't work. I tried re-installing the app but it didn't make a difference, she just told me to never use the app for switching. I have a tailgater and the app shows turning off the tailgater off and on it doesn't work and they told me they know about it. I need to call them every time I want to turn it off and on. It only lets you send a signal to the unit if it's already on. So instead of paying a few cents every weekend I just pay the fee for the month 5 dollars

Sorry you had all that trouble. Ours is the Winegard 2.0 unit I believe, and the APP works perfectly. I installed a Verizon Sim card recently to verify it works. I tried it at home and a campground recently, and it worked fine. I need to call them and turn it off since we are at home for a couple of months. I did all the switching through the APP.

I told Verizon to turn it off for the winter and they said I would need to get another sim card from them in the spring

I thought you could use the Winegard 2.0 without a sim card as a booster?

You can but only to connect to another wifi at a park. Not broadcast your own wifi without a sim card. If you went to a McDonalds you could connect to their wifi

I'm going to call them in the spring and try to get them to turn on the one I have. It's on file I don't know why he told me to get a new one.

The one directly under the outlets is for the in motion sat dish I think. The one to the right has a button for “ant pwr” and one for “wifi” pwr

I'm going to bolt it down. I have the wiring kit but the diagram and pics in the instructions look nothing like my engine firewall, so have to figure that out.
