Chicago RV Show = 2018 Seneca

Well we went to the RV show yesterday to look at all the new RV's and ended up ordering a 2018 37TS. Now time to clean out the Greyhawk and wait for the new one. The next 12 weeks are going to be rough.

Any changes in the 2018's? Looking at ordering a 37 ts in the next few weeks, looks like these are now going to be 2018's Just wondering if there are any new items. What colors and options did you choose?

We did the Imperial Night exterior with the Royal Garnet interior. Jayco was very tight lipped about the changes. He said the colors were not changing in 2018 and there were just some small changes that were coming. Said that Garmin may be the new navigation system for the 2018's. Which is great news cause we have the Jensen system in our Greyhawk and it's terrible. Other than that, he didn't give us much.

I ordered a Seneca 37TS, antique ivory, royal garnet and theatre seats on February 6. I was told it will be a 2018. I haven't gotten a build date yet. This morning I called Jayco and spoke to Jaime in marketing. Very pleasant and helpful fellow. He told me the 18 changes have not been released to them yet. They are tight lipped so people will buy the 17s. He said to feel free to call in a week to see if anything is known.

It's been two weeks and now the suspense and anticipation are getting to me. I will post when I hear something.

Congratulations on your new order, I hope the time passes quickly and that there are no delays. Did you order from Ricks RV in Joliet?

I heard they have no more 2017 chassis, that is why they are going to the 2018's. They told me 12 weeks on mine. Also heard the major back-up is the painting.

I can totally see how they are out of 2017s, I mean it February already. SMH

And yes, Jaime from marketing did mention something about the paint shop back up. Funny thing is I'd be happy with white with a little bit of striping. The paint on the Seneca is a bit much for my taste but white is not an option. Actually I am scared I may scratch that fancy paint job some day and be heartbroken.
