Child Car Seats

I have a 2015 Jayco Greyhawk. Can anyone tell me if there are anchors in the sofa or dinette to properly install a child safety seat? Thanks for any information.

What Model do you have?

There are restrains integrated in some of the seating.

Our 2016 Jayco has seatbelts, but no anchors that I've ever been able to find. It's a bit unnerving and something that should be incorporated into the design.

Seat belts, yes. Anchors (LATCH), no.

I agree, it's not the best for car seats. It's difficult to get them good and tight because the belts are anchored below the cushions. So it's probably best to remove the cushions to get a half-way decent install. And you'll want to seat them at the dinette, possibly with the table down. Forward-facing or rearward-facing depends on the seat I think.

Honestly, we've never been able to get what I would consider a "good" position for our son. Thankfully he's in a booster, and we don't have shoulder straps to deal with at this point. I looked for a short while about a way to disable the front passenger air bag, as that seat, being an actual "automotive" seat with a shoulder restraint and pre-tensioners would be the safest place for him. But unfortunately, I never could get any traction on disabling the air bag. The airbag would be decidedly UNSAFE for him.
