Chrome Lug Nut covers

Does anyone know if the lug nut covers on the S2RV chassis screw off or pop off? I’m afraid to put to much torque on then until I find out. Thanks for any info

They pull straight off, they make special pliers for removing them without damage.

What if they get rust on them? Something makes me think that you may have a great answer for that. (< ~CA

If those pliers don't pull them off, you will be buying replacements. They are plastic.

Not sure what matrial they are made with, most are a low grade stainless which can still rust. My first try would be a pencil eraser on he rust spot and if it does remove anything then hit it with some rubbing compound to shine up. Replacements are pretty cheap if they won’t clean up.

The ones that come on the Senecas with the S2 chassis are metal.

Thank you everyone, I ordered the tool. I need to take them off because there is a slight bit of rust showing around the edges of a few of them.

I was just picking about having rust on the nuts, because of the name you go by here. Many thanks though, your thoughts are certainly spot on. ~CA
