Dinette vs Booth

Has anyone here actually seen the dinette/chairs option vs booth?

Bonus points for photos you can share.

In general we are not fans of booths and given I will want to do some work at the table a chair that could be swapped for an office chair seems a decent consideration. But I can't seem to find a single photo of what it looks like. All I can find is the crappy line drawing on the brochure of options.

Hopefully someone here has been down that path before me and can illuminate me.

What model Super C are you considering?

One thing to note, if your table is in a slideout, there is a lip on the floor for the slide to close over the fixed floor. Next the table is secured to the floor or wall. Often there is not a lot of room behind the chair. All of this can make using an office chair a bit challenging. Not saying it is not doable, just need to be aware of.

As for images, I strongly recommend looking online. Jayco has their 360 view. Unfortunately is only shows one layout option. If you go to RVTrader.com, and punch in the model you are considering, there is a good chance you can find both a booth and table & chair option to look at.

We are looking at the 37K plan in particular. I have googled a ton of search terms and to date my search has come up dry on dinette photos. Seems an option that is for sure rare and almost appears never asked for. I’m there are some out there but I can’t find it online. I’ve used the 360 view on the Jayco site but as usual, it’s the booth that’s shown.

If I did find a person who’s seen the dinette, my very next question was going to be how much of a lip is there from carpet to floor. We were in a Newmar Ventana plan that the carpet/floor was in exactly the wrong place for the dinette chair. So I share your concern about usability.

I wish the industry was in a place where inventory at dealers existed. Shopping online is fine…. To a point.

We had a table and chairs in our 2006 Seneca and we have a booth in our 2018 Seneca.
By far, I prefer the booth.
Storage underneath,
nothing sliding around,
not having to store the extra two chairs under the bed
etc.

Both were on a slide and we did not have any problem with either.

On the Entegra Accolade owners group in Facebook, my wife asked if anyone had the Table and Chairs and someone posted what it looked like. We had one on order with this option which wouldn't have been complete until August or later of this year, but our dealer had one come in that financing fell through for the original purchaser so we were offered it and we took it. It has the booth and we are happy with it. I added some hinges for the under seat storage plywood top and put some non slip pads under the seat so they don't move around. The seat cushions are pretty comfortable although the backs might be a tad low and I need to add some more Velcro so they stay in place.
