We're using the built in shade that slides inside the door window. A real pain to adjust but adding anything from the factory was nuts. We did add the valance which has dressed up the general appearance. Our bathroom valence fit over the entry door perfectly and will hide any blind that we add. It's on my list to add, we just have had too many other issues to deal with. We love our coach, I just wish i could talk the Jayco engineers into using better quality components, and neater more competent electricians.

Ours is missing. We just bought it this past weekend. All that is there is a plastic clip type on the left side in the middle.

Well, you will need to add something. I think you could start by using a pull down blind from Lowes or Home Depot, then hiding it with the Bathroom valence. The valence was only $120 from my dealer, but the bathroom blind assembly was almost $400! If I could figure out how to post pictures, I would drop one in here.

I added the MCD shade, it fits on the screen door so it isn't in the way like the ones I saw just mounted on the wall over the door. No ducking, it opens with the door!

Here's a link. Each one is custom made, took me about 3 weeks to get mine. Unfortunately, probably longer now.

Are these standard size rv door windows? If so they make a replacement window, with the thin shade included. Easy to remove old window and install this. I did two on my trailer.
