Driving from Jackson Hole WY to Yellowstone

Looking for the safest route for a Seneca to travel from Jackson Hole WY to Yellowstone Park/West.
Any suggestions really appreciated.

Welcome to Wyoming, Travel early to miss the crowds, like daybreak. best time to see wildlife. Be prepared for lookie-loos and traffic jams. Don't let your heavy RV slip off the shoulder. Youre in a camper, slow down and relax and stay awhile. DO NOT go from East Yellowstone to Red Lodge in a RV, your bumpers meet each other on the curves, on the high mountain pass above treeline,. Do, do it in a car, Its spectacular.

We traveled from “West Yellowstone To Jackson” in our previous Seneca. (2006 35 GS) We always try to make our first stop the Visitor’s Center. Lady there misunderstood & after she told us if we were towing over Jackson Pass that we should disconnect. Told her the advice was too late. We had just come over Jackson Pass “towing” with NO problem.

We were also there last week and the only traffic was at the bridge construction coming out of old faithful. Overall park traffic was very light and there was nowhere near the crowds or congestion that others, no necessarily on this forum, are reporting.

When we went last week the was no traffic and no crowds.

We were there the 11th and 12th. You could not even park at Old Faithful. I had to circle the parking lot for a hour so my wife and kids could see Old Faithful go off. The one lane bridge exiting may have caused a 15 minute delay, but wasn't bad. We were in 2 traffic jambs in there that were over an hour each. This was my 5th trip in there in the last 7 years and it was by far the worst I have ever seen it. I'm sure it changes daily.
