Exhaust fan

Well, I'm not a fan (pun intended) of the rear fan. Yesterday, it was a very nice 25C (77F) and this morning, a bunch of rain. Needless to say there is water on the floor.

One of the things the original fan can't do is air intake. Circulated air is not a strong point in these rigs.

My solution is ordering a Maxxair 7500K vent! It will be delivered to the Home Depot in El Centro, CA just in time for us to get there at the end of next week.
It should be a simple swap.
Benefits:

Closes if it rains
Air intake
Exhaust
Thermostat
Leave open when driving
My better 3/4 can open it if needed
And others

You will like it. There are a number of threads on here about fan replacement with that particular fan and remote fans.

You will like it. I keep our vent open year round, even all winter. I think the only time it gets closed is in really dusty environment.

I added a Maxxair remote fan to our bathroom. Makes a nice difference. One big difference in DW at 5’0” can now turn on the exhaust fan. I also added the vent cover as well since the rain sensor is very sensitive and once the vent closes it does not reopen on it own.

Well, this didn't take long to install. We were boondocking in eastern Arizona and had some free time between hikes.
The internal shroud fits perfectly without any triming.
Make sure your fan switch is on. It is so quiet when running, I'm very happy!

Looks like it was basically plug and play? Do you have a link for the model you ordered?

Just completed the same on my 22 37M also and very happy. I did have to trim the internal shroud about an inch on one side but was an easy install overall. The day after I finished and had everything sealed up with new dicor around seams it poured rain for 3 hours. Had the vent open and had no issues with rain from the vent or around the sealant. Good to go!

I had ordered a Maxxair 7500K smoke through Home Depot since we're on holiday. I knew we would be there a few days after it arrived, they keep it for a week and then when I had some free time, I installed it.
It's very easy to install, pay attention to the removal and replacement of the dicor. I filled in the old screw holes, then applied a bead of caulking, screwed it down and added additional dicor over the entire ring. Hook up the wiring from the inside and the shroud fit just right, though you might have to trim some.
One hour, forty minutes from start to finish, ymmv.

We have a 2022 Seneca 37K.
