Full Time

We are shopping for a used super C (Seneca, Thor, Entegra, Nexus)and planning to be in it full time.

Any comments from full timers about the Seneca ride quality, ergonomics, storage, routine maintenance etc.

Any comments regarding experience with the other brands would be welcome also.

Thanks

2020 Seneca 37L

We have been full time since August 2nd, 2020. We traded in our 30’ Earthbound trailer for a slightly used 2020 Jayco Seneca 37L three weeks ago and are heading back out tomorrow for places west. We have been staying in our rig at various places around Indianpolis to get used to it. So far it has been good. Jayco is not the top Super C. In our research Renegade would have been our first choice, but out of our price range. Nexus was ok, but Jayco was a definite step up (construction quality). We did a lot of research before deciding - and are happy with our choice - so far...

Thanks for the input.

We found a 2017 37HJ. I think it's going to be OK....I am going through the unit now and tackling the normal wear and tear items....genset service, slide wipers, etc.

We've been full time in our 2019 RB Seneca since May 2020. Prior to that, we lived in it for 7 to 9 months a year. Like you, we looked at all the Super C's. Loved the Renegade, didn't like the price tag. Liked the Nexus, but didn't like cab entry and how it handled. When we test drove the Seneca, it was love at first test drive.

We have had some minor issues, but overall, great vehicle. May I inquire, deputydawg, retired LEO? I ask, because I am a retired LEO.

You can always tell a full timer in a campground. They are always smiling and happy. It has to be wonderful!
