Plug itself stripped or the threads in the sump?

All of the Seneca Onans I have heard about the plug was 1/4" national pipe thread. To install a Fumoto valve requires two parts, an adapter that replaces the plug itself and then the actual Fumoto valve into the adapter.

My Onan has Fumoto adapter ADP-710, the valve is F-107N.

hey just wondering, do you use a gasket they sent on the adapter for the fumoto valve, the one they sent with the adapter does not really fit, and there was nothing on the oil drain plug on the generator

On mine the adapter screws directly into the sump, the gasket goes between adapter and valve. If memory serves, the ID of the gasket fit closely over the valve's threads. If yours does not maybe they sent the wrong gasket, perhaps call them tomorrow.
