I didn’t connect the Orange wire per manufacturer’s direction. Also, just a couple of notes, see my comments above regarding the PD lithium converter being single stage and check with your battery manufacturer to see if constant 14.6 volts is a problem long term. You may not like the answer. Also, you usually do not have to remember to shut off the batteries in freezing weather because all reputable lithium batteries have a BMS that prevent charging below freezing.

Thanks. I am looking at the manufacturer guidelines and though I agree that two-stage would be better, I think I am ok with what I am reading.
