Missing Trans Temp Gauge

Just took delivery of my 2020 Entegra Accolade 37k. I noticed that there is no gauge in the bottom left corner of the instrument panel. The owners manual shows a Trans Temp Gauge in that location.

Does anyone else have a gauge in that spot?

Scan Gauge

No temp gauge on the dash - it can be added for a price but the Scan Gauge is less expensive and provides much more information - digital temperature readings and fuel mileage information is very useful Les

Earlier Kodiak-based Senecas did have a trans temp gauge but I haven't seen one on a Freightliner Seneca. I echo Les' recommendation of a ScanGauge, I've had mine for years and trans temp is a parameter I keep up on my display (TFT lower right).

Scangage x3. Gives you readings in numbers straight from the engines ECU with many gauge selections with up to 4 on display at once. Trans temp is always on mine.

I have an Accolade 37TS and it does not have the trans gauge. It does, however, have a trans overheating warning lamp on the instrument cluster.

Since the instrument panel is Freightliner installed we would need to ask them why they did not install the gauge. Could be it is not required for the Allison 3000 trans.

ScanGauge x 4. One of the first things I bought, on the advice of others here, when I got the Seneca. Works great and gives all the information you could want.

Most the newer vehicles have the option to read the trans temp in the computer, similar to the options for MPG, engine hours, and error messages.

Possibly not available in your RV.

If not, go with the Scangauge as mentioned

X infinty. Get a scan gage, it will answer questions you have not even thought to ask yet. It’s a must have item. Like beer.
