Flags

I've had trailers most of my life and I fly my flag proudly. I keep is simple, I use a pipe strap and pvc pipe, 1" to 1.5". My flag pole is in three sections about 5' each so I cam mount my fly low or high depending on the wind. I use PVC sleeves to hold them together. at each joint I drilled a hole to put a pin in to make sure it didn't get taken. Then I put a larger PVC sleeve on the top so the flag would spin. Also I put a cap on the top so moisture doesn't build up, and I leave the bottom of the pole open so if there is any moisture it can drain out. The cost for the PVC pipe was about $4 (at Home Depot) the sleeves were about $1.50 each, the pipe strap was $5.00 for a ten foot roll (you won't need that much, unless you makes some mistakes). Bolts I had on hand but less than $5.00 for bolts, nuts, and washers. All-in-all was less than $20. I broke the flag pole to the 5' so I could store in the camp pass-through.
