I got my Onan generator back after a couple of weeks at the cummins service center in Sioux Falls. As I mentioned earlier in my posts that there was a lot of green growing in the wiring after I opened the side panel. That did turn out to be the problem as the stator and rotor were bunted out and shorted out everything to cause the engine to shut down immediately. This seneca is new to me as I stated earlier so I really don't know the hole history except the previous owner family did dirt bike racing and only stayed at racetracks and used the generator a lot, but that should not have caused that? Anyway, after a little more than $4K the generator is back in and working great.
