Park cable tv

We have 2022 Senaca.

We are at a campground and can’t get the dish network to work because of the trees. So we hooked to the park cable tv but can’t get it on the tv.
Do I need to move cables around to get it to the the tv screen

Yes I do

There is a white coax cable plugged in the tv in the antenna/cable port. There is a hdmi cable plugged into hdmi 1 port for the dish network.

The other wall plate under the tv says winegard 2.0 and it has the booster switch on it and a coax connection with nothing plugged in.

You are aware the TV has to be in the correct input to receive cable, and you have to tell it to do a cable search for channels. On ours, I need to be in the TV input, not HDMI input, which I use for the Fire Stick. The tv will ask if you are watching through an antenna or cable. You choose and then let it do a channel search. Our stereo is connected to the ARC input on the TV and provides sound through the speakers when watching tv.

I will add, we don't have Dish, so your setup is probably different. Our Winegard 2.0 has nothing to do with the tv itself, as it handles the Wi-Fi signal available for the tv, computers etc. and controlled from the Jaycommand tablet or Winegard connect App on phone. We have a plug with a satellite/ tv connections and the amplifier button for regular tv.

There is a common problem coming from the factory with the cable not wired properly, behind the plate there are two connections which tend to be backwards. Swap them. My dealer said this is common.

I bought a cable tracer to test mine…. Found the back of the signal booster was bad…. I also think some of the RV parks have bad cable connections.

Some TVs need a cable box to work at some campgrounds.
