Power gear slide 37k problems

The wife and I are full timing. Stoped in southern Texas at a truck stop and the large dining table slide started to come in and gave up. I had the generator running so low power was not the issue I think. We finally got it to come in after several tries. Now we are at our rv park and I tried it again. Same thing. It starts to tilt up a little and gives up. The metal under the carpet seems fine and rollers are good. Slide need adjusting? Any advice would be appreciated.

If you have weak batteries even with the geny running or shore power it can give you problems.

There are 2 auto reset breakers in the main panel for the slides, they are marked. Our main Powergear slide a couple times has just stopped like you describe and I finally found tapping on this breaker made it start working again. I replaced the breaker with a new one and it hasn’t happened since. They are the little silver boxes that are below the row of fuses. There is also a 20 amp self resetting breaker on the main control board under the bed that I have also had to replace once.

That could be it. The motor sounds weak like it's running on 12 volts instead of 24.

The power gear slide motor is 12 volts as is the whole coach.

Brian,
Thank you... that picture told me what the my unknown breaker was... Mine says 15Amp Inverter but it is the fireplace. I couldn't figure it out until I saw the picture of your panel.

Different models can have them labeled different, in mine 3 breakers were labeled wrong…..

I understand the slide is 12 volt. I was trying to describe what the power delivery of the motor was like. It's working fine now. When I was on shore power at my friend's ranch in Texas I noticed the fan under the bed never turned on. The zantrex info showed bypassing the Battery's totally. I think something was "stuck" with the inverter. Seems good now that I'm on shore power here in Port Aransas
