Propane gauge ? Seneca RB

I can’t find an interior propane gauge in my 37RB.
The gauge on the tank has wiring and it runs up and into the underneath of the coach but I can’t find a gauge anywhere to see propane level except on the tank.

Should I have an interior gauge somewhere ?

Is it incorporated into your tank monitoring panel?

My 2014 didn't either until I upgraded to a complete SeeLevel system. But an '18 I looked at did have a KIB panel that included the LP tank. Seems silly that Jayco didn't include it originally in ours!

If we don’t have a monitor for it... any idea what are the wires from the tank gauge going too ?

Does the gauge sending unit and wires on the tank look like this one?

If they do, I wonder if Jayco ran those wires to wherever your monitor panel is? What type of monitor panel did Jayco install? I wonder if there is a chance they put the wrong panel in your Seneca?

If no answers here, may want to call Jayco and see what they have to say about the issue.

Yes, gauge with wires just like that.
Wires are ran into a loom and run up in to the floor of the coach.

I'll have to take a picture of the panel and post it.

Looks like they overlooked it, possibly because of the extra tanks in the rear bath floorplan. I think a call to Jayco might be in order, I'm guessing a dealer may not be much help!

Response from Jayco about the propane gauge wiring and the lack of the LPG display on the monitor panel.....

I did get with my people and it is indeed wired for the sensor on the LP. Unfortunately since you have more than one holding tank, it was prioritized to be put for those sensors. Since there is only six locations available for sensors on the panel. I was told that you could purchase a LP sensor online and connect it somewhere, but that isn’t something that we could provide.

Sounds like I should have wiring behind the monitor panel. I didn’t notice it when I looked so need to look again.
Any idea where I can get an individual LPG sensor gauge for the monito panel ?
Google searches show large panels but no small individual monito panel type displays....

I have heard of people adapting an aftermarket fuel gauge to the type of sending unit we have. Our sending units are 90 ohm units, which happens to match up to what GM cars used from 1965 - 1997 for their gas tank sending units. You can get a variety of aftermarket panel-mount gauges that are 0 - 90 ohm compatible from somewhere like Summit Racing (located here by me!). You could wire it to read continuously whenever your coach battery switch was on, or you could utilize a momentary switch to provide power to get a reading like most RV panels do.

Not as slick as incorporated in your panel, but I think it could be made to work!
